Why would FAUX “News” pay Tom Delay almost $14,000. to appear on Faux News Sunday the weekend after DeLay was indicted? Uh, perhaps as a means of contributing to DeLay’s defense fund?
This payment to DeLay should remove any doubt that anyone may have had that FOX News is nothing more than the Ministry of Information for the republican political machine or that Brit Hume, its “news” director, is the most promiscuous media whore? Of course, it won’t; as there are those, to whom fact is irrelevant, who will continue to eagerly lap up and regurgitate the Fox propaganda as fact.

isn't that illegal? For a member of congress to accept payment for a news broadcast? Jesus.....it should be for crying out loud.
It certainly seems that it should be illegal. However, I think that it's a well demonstrated fact that congress, with certain notable exceptions, has been bought and paid for. Of course, that's nothing new; as those who have read "Hear the Lonesome Whistle Blow", by Michael Brown, know. I think it is just a bit more covert these days, with so called "campaign reform".
As someone said, we have the best government money can pay for. And DeLay is amongst the most highly paid congressional whores.
I emailed this to many of my family and of course my Brother in the Red State of NC told me I was sick.
I thanked him of course.
